Trevonna Parker is the founder of Nine Plus Financial Solutions. As a Christian wife and mom of Nine Plus, she understands the strong desire to operate with integrity to leave life just a little bit better for our children and grandchildren than it was for us.

Her journey into family financial coaching and consulting began when she realized that, like hers, many families were suffering with paycheck to paycheck living. It’s not that the money wasn’t there, it’s just that like so many others, she was not trained to see money the right way.

If she didn’t see it the right way, she surely wasn’t going to use it the right way. She needed to find a way to make money work and to pass down a legacy of financial literacy and financial freedom to her children.

It was terrifying to step away from the crowd and think outside the box at first, but she knew that if anything was going to change, she needed to change. That mind-shift opened her up to clarity and she learned that if you continue to do what you’ve always done, hold on to what you’ve always been taught, and think like the masses, you’re going to end up like the masses—struggling with paycheck to paycheck living—generation after generation—and possibly setting your future generations up for a continuous cycle of poverty.

It was a humbling mind-shift, but it was necessary if she was going to make life better for her children and possible grandchildren.
